About You Ed

Actual Teachers. Actual Personalized Learning.

You Ed provides specialized learning support for students who need more than homework help. Founded by educator Zehra Rizvi (M.Ed., 16 years experience in special education and English language learning), we use assessment-based instruction to identify learning patterns and build skills that last.

We’re committed to helping learners develop the skills, resources, and systems they need to thrive in school and beyond, setting them up for success in college, careers, and adulthood.

Our Approach

We focus on the whole learner, not just grades:

  • Assessment-based instruction – We identify strengths and learning gaps through research-based tools
  • Executive function skills – Organization, time management, planning, and self-advocacy
  • Individualized learning plans – Tailored to each student’s specific needs and learning style
  • Progress monitoring – Quarterly reports keep families and schools informed

Our tutors are certified teachers (8-16 years of experience) specializing in learning differences, math, and English language learning—not college students doing homework help.

Unlike college student tutors focused on homework or just reteaching today’s lesson, we use research-based assessments to identify learning gaps, create personalized instruction plans, and backfill gaps.

Why Families & Top Schools Choose Us

Goal-focused support. Students stay until they reach independence. When progress is slower than expected, we adjust timelines and often identify learning patterns that benefit from specialist evaluation.

Transparent communication. Quarterly written reports and monthly updates keep everyone aligned on progress and goals.

Collaborative approach. We work with schools, families, and specialists to create consistent support systems.
